The Lourdes Health System is one of southern New Jersey’s leading healthcare systems, with hospitals located in Camden and Willingboro.

Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden is the region’s premier tertiary-care teaching hospital. The 377-bed hospital offers many specialty services including: The New Jersey Heart Institute at Lourdes (the largest provider of inpatient cardiac services in the entire Philadelphia/South Jersey area); the Regional Perinatal Center (for high-risk mothers and infants); Lourdes Regional Rehabilitation Center; the Regional Dialysis Center; the Center for Organ Transplantation (the only hospital in southern New Jersey providing kidney, pancreas and liver transplants); the Lourdes Joint Replacement Center, the New Jersey Stroke Institute and the Lourdes Wellness Center. Lourdes also has an impressive array of community outreach programs, including Osborn Family Health Center, Project H.O.P.E. (a homeless outreach program), The Bridge (an outreach program for teenagers), and many others.

In March 2005, Lourdes will open its new, $56 million, 121,000 square-foot Critical Care Building, which will house a new Emergency Department, 75 new critical care beds, new operating and procedure suites, a new School of Nursing facility, and larger rooms for enhanced patient comfort.

Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County is a 259-bed community hospital in Willingboro. Specialty services include the Lourdes Cancer Center (a member of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Network); cardiology services, including a new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and EECP laboratory for the treatment of chronic chest pain; award-winning maternity services (the only hospital in the region to be recognized with the "5 Star" award for maternity services from HealthGrades (the nation's leading source for healthcare quality information); a wound care center; a Sleep Disorders Lab; behavioral health services and extensive diagnostic and treatment services including state-of-the-art imaging services.
